Speaker
Join Matthew Sawchuk from the Royal Alberta Museum for
A Safari through Prehistoric Alberta: Alberta has been home to a wonderful diversity of creatures over the last half billion years, and we are fortunate to find the remains of so many of them. From Trilobite beds to Wally’s Beach, this presentation will be a quick tour through not just the famous but also the rare and extremely obscure animals that have inhabited Alberta, culminating with the megafauna that the first people saw upon their arrival. I can guarantee you’ll see something you’ve never imagined!

Archaeology Jeopardy
Hosted by Samantha Kondor
Who wants free dinner??

After Matthew's talk of the animals that have inhabited Alberta, you and your table will
have the chance to win yourselves free dinner courtesy of the Arky Society. Of course,
you'll have to bet it all and prove victorious in final jeopardy to win the night - or maybe
slow and steady wins the race? Either way, join us for a night of festive and
archaeological questions with the chance to have your dinner paid for!
