Young Explorers: Digging up the past is a new family program offered by the ASAEC, participants will not only engage with archaeological material but will learn how archaeologists understand the ancient worlds they uncover! Aimed for ages 6-8 but all members of the family are encouraged to participate!

Calling all young explorers! Join the Archaeological Society of Alberta for a fun and interactive workshop for children all about the amazing human past. With special stories, activities and interactions with artifacts, this workshop will encourage you to keep exploring and features a different topic in the field of archaeology each month.

The Archaeological Society of Alberta Centres hosts a variety of engaging and interactive events that allow participants to connect with the archaeology of Alberta. 

If you're interested in getting involved with the archaeological community and making a difference, consider volunteering on one of the Centres' boards. This will allow you to be a part of the decision-making process of the ASA.
