Event: Introduction to Flintknapping and Stone Tools Workshop 2024

Hello Flintknappers and Future Flintknappers,

The Archaeological Society of Alberta - Calgary Centre is currently planning an Introduction to Flintknapping and Stone Tools workshop on the weekend of March 29/30 at Mount Royal University.

We are still finalizing details but expect that it will be from 9 am to 3 pm both days and the costs will be $35 for one day or $50 for both. Everything you are going to need will be provided, including raw material (obsidian), billets and pressure flakers, leather gloves, safety glasses and lunch.
