The Bodo Archaeological Society (BAS) was incorporated as a non-profit society in December 2003 to promote the continuation of field research and develop public archaeology programming including guided tours to, and interpretation of the Bodo Archaeological Sites. The Society supports the development of new tourism and its spin-offs as viable, local economic growth. Long dependent on the cyclical nature of the agriculture and energy industries, the Bodo Archaeological Society challenges others to support the tremendous potential of these archaeological treasures discovered in our own backyard.
