ASA Memberships
Our members represent a community of people inspired to enhance the public's understanding of Alberta's archaeological resources and instill an appreciation of our collective past. The Archaeological Society of Alberta advocates for safeguarding our non-renewable cultural heritage. Members seek to preserve the archaeological record of the Alberta landscape surrounding us and the culture, language and traditions of people who have called this place home for over 13,000 years. When someone invests in a membership, they take an active role in supporting the Archaeological Society of Alberta (ASA) in preserving the culture of our province.
By joining the ASA, you become part of the archaeological community, and your membership gives you year-round access to the volunteer efforts of preserving archaeology throughout Alberta. Buying a membership provides immediate benefits for you and long-lasting benefits for the ASA. Anyone who has an interest in archaeology is welcome to join.
How to Become an ASA Member
If you wish to join the Archaeological Society of Alberta contact the ASA Centre nearest you. If you are not near a Centre or want to join at a provincial level, please get in touch with the Provincial Coordinator.
